Dear Friends, Happy Spring! It's that time of year when Jen's mind turns to getting outside - and walking! As many of you know, last year I walked my first half-maration with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Team in Training (TNT) and so many of you generously donated to raise funds for LLS while I worked toward my goal of walking 13.1 miles. I know I've said it before, but thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you for your support in that adventure! My success was two-fold: I raised over $1800 and successfully finished walking the race in under 3 1/2 hours - my personal goal! This year, I am looking for your help again. My goals are a little smaller this year, but in an effort to look fabulous for the wedding, I'm getting moving to train to walk (maybe run/walk?) the Freihofer's Run for Women on June 5th, and raise $750 along the way. What better way to be inspired to have a great race than to train with TNT again, raising money for LLS? This inspiring and moving organization does so much great work towards finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers.
